The Island
Aloha is both the hello and the goodbye, which is the right word for a scent you put on at seven in the morning and are still wearing when you say goodnight. Three products, one scent, and a short list of things we refuse to do.

Where the name comes from
A century of pineapple
Hawaii grew pineapple commercially for most of the twentieth century, and for decades the islands were the center of the global trade in it. Whole valleys were planted in rows, canneries ran through the night, and the fruit travelled everywhere with the place attached to it.
That is why the fruit and the islands are still linked in most people's minds, and it is where the name comes from. The fields are mostly gone now. The association stayed.

What aloha means
Aloha is a greeting, a farewell, and a way of treating people, all carried in one word. It is used at the start of the day and at the end of it, by the same person, to the same person.
That is the right word for a scent you put on at seven in the morning and are still wearing when you say goodnight. One thing, worn all the way through the day, and meant both times.
The scent, and why a piña colada
A piña colada is one of the few smells that almost everyone reads the same way. Crushed pineapple, toasted coconut, a short pour of aged rum. It is sweet without being candy, and it is warm without being a dessert.
Most coconut in body care smells like sunscreen because it is the cheap synthetic. We built the fragrance around a real pineapple accord with green banana leaf and lime peel on top, tiaré under the coconut, and vanilla and sea salt at the base so it dries down warm instead of sugary.
Where we are from, plainly
Pineapple Aloha is a Los Angeles company. The products are made by a contract manufacturer in the continental United States, not in Hawaii, and nothing in this bottle was grown or blended there.
We are named for a place we love and made in America, and we would rather say both than let a pretty label imply the first one. Hawaii is not a product descriptor here. It is the reason the name means anything.
How it is made
The formulas are contract manufactured in the United States. We start from a proven stock base rather than inventing chemistry, then commission the fragrance and adjust the base around it. That keeps the price at $22 instead of $48.
No sulfates, no SLS or SLES. Vegan and not tested on animals. pH matched to skin at 5.5. Bottles are 100% post-consumer recycled. Every fragrance allergen is printed on the label instead of hiding behind the word parfum.
What we will not do
We will not claim the products repair, treat or cure anything. We will not run a fake founder story or buy reviews. We will not add a fourth product because the calendar says it is spring, and we will not reformulate quietly to save a few cents per unit.
If a batch is off, we say so with the lot number.
